Counting Down to Halloween

I'm so excited because it's FINALLY here!  It's October 1st and I begin my month-long blogging excursion to write about spooky, weird, creepy, haunted and horror-filled Christmas entertainments to celebrate the Halloween season.  This is my second year as an official participant in the Countdown to Halloween--a group of bloggers writing all month long about Halloween-inspired topics.  You absolutely MUST check out the long list of participating blogs--there are approx. 215 Cryptkeepers participating.  What a fun way to discover new blogs!  Click HERE for the master list of Cryptkeepers.  All month long, I'll keep the Cryptkeeper badge along the top right hand side of my blog active.  You can click it to return to the master list anytime during the month of October to find the list again.

I'll have all new posts beginning tomorrow so stop back throughout the month--and prepare to be dazzled and amazed at the staggering amount of cross-over material between Halloween and Christmas.  It's a lot of fun, I promise.

Perhaps the most frightening news is that the end of October brings the beginning of the Christmas programming season on television, starting Nov.1st.  NOW THAT'S SCARY! How quickly the seasons change.  So let's get started.
