Gratitude Giveaways Nov. 17th-27th

 
Welcome to Christmas TV History blog.  I'm the author of two books about Christmas television entertainments:

Tis the Season TV: The Encyclopedia of Christmas-themed Episodes, Specials and TV Movies (2010)

and The Christmas TV Companion: A Guide to Cult Classics, Strange Specials and Outrageous Oddities (2009).

In gratitude to the readers of my blog, I'm giving away a signed, hardbound copy of the new book The Nine Lives of Christmas by Sheila Roberts.

    WOW! That is a lot of blogs!!!

    My favorite special is probably Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I know it's loved by so many, but there is a good reason. Just reminds me of my childhood and also now of raising my own kids.

    But really, there are so many good ones to chose from!

    I follow on GFC (mamie316) and my ultimate favorite Christmas show is Rudolph. I refuse to buy it because there is something so special about watching it the night it airs. I'm a sucker for Christmas shows and sappy Christmas movies :)

    Thank you for participating in this fun Thanksgiving event. I love A Charlie Brown Christmas, but my all time favorite is A Christmas Carol. I saw an animated version that was not really a cartoon in the sense that Charlie Brown is, but it was awesome and I look for it every year hoping to watch it again :)
