I wish I was at the beach RIGHT now! |
This is what I'm giving away:
This Holiday Family Classics DVD set includes 4 DVDs--more than 20 hours worth of Christmas entertainment. You'll find the original 1964 movie Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (not the MST3k version) and the cartoon Christmas Visit. Both are science fiction entries we've discussed so far this month. In this DVD set you'll also find: The Littlest Angel, the Mexican-made movie Santa Claus, and the 1935 Seymour Hicks version of The Christmas Carol. There's also the early cartoon Christmas Comes But Once A Year, the same cartoon shown within Pee-Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special, a short film version of The Little Match Girl though I'm not sure which version, and the 1955 TV version of Miracle on 34th Street. If you're a TV junkie like myself, you may be impressed that this set also includes three installments from the early TV anthology series Studio One: 1950's Little Women: Jo's Story, 1950's Little Women: Meg's Story, and 1952's The Nativity. Please enter this contest before I change my mind--this DVD set may be too fantastic to give away!
Maybe the heat is getting to me but I want to include another DVD as well:
I'm also including The Simpsons Christmas DVD collection in this giveaway. It includes The Simpsons holiday episodes: Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, Mr. Plow, Miracle on Evergreen Terrace, Grift of the Magi and She of Little Faith.
Both DVD sets are brand new, factory-sealed. There will be ONE winner for the entire package. This giveaway is limited to valid entries with shipments made to the U.S. and Canada only. Here's how you can enter the giveaway:
Do you follow my Facebook page 'Christmas TV History?' Click HERE for the link. If you don't already follow, give it a 'Like'. Thank you if you already follow me there. Now to enter the giveaway: leave a comment on the wall of the FB page 'Christmas TV History' and tell everyone which of the SCI-FI Christmas in July blog posts is your favorite so far. That's it! Do that and you're entered.
I'll randomly pick the winner from all qualified entries after 8pm (ET) on Thursday July 12th. Good Luck! And, Merry SCI-FI Christmas in July!
I am going to keep myself out of the running, but I wish good luck to everyone! This is a great giveaway, Joanna! Very sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to do that. Play along if you like. Why not?
DeleteThe giveaway is now over--the winner is Heather. Her entry was picked using Random.org's random number generator. Congratulations to her--and thanks to everyone who entered. I'm hosting a 2nd giveaway later in July--so please keep an eye out for that. Merry SCI-FI Christmas in July!
